I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location is fantastic right in the heart of the village, I was disappointed with the noise from the first floor and the overall value of the rooms. The service had its ups and downs; some staff were helpful but others weren’t as accommodating. Dining was a letdown as well, with overpriced and average meals. Overall, it has its perks but needs improvements in a few areas.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious but not worth the high price I paid, especially considering the noise from the reception and other guests. I expected more for the cost.
Service

Some of the staff were attentive and knowledgeable about local attractions, but others did not seem willing to help and struggled with communication.

The hotel is ideally located in the center of the charming village of Les Portes en Re, making it convenient to explore the area, though the small rooms came with a slight odor from humidity.
Dining

Dining was quite average and pricey, with breakfast being a mandatory extra that felt overpriced. I did not enjoy the quality of the coffee.

The amenities were basic and could use an upgrade, but the potential for improvement is there.

6.8/10

I had a decent stay overall, with a fantastic location right in the middle of the village. The rooms, while spacious, were a bit noisy and offered less value for their price. The staff was generally friendly but faced some language barriers, which made communication a challenge. Dining was quite average and overpriced, especially the breakfast. The overall experience was good, but there were definitely some areas that could use improvement.

The location was excellent, right in the heart of the village, but the small rooms and slight odor of humidity detracted a bit from the experience.

Dining was typically French, but the prices were high for average quality, and I found the coffee particularly disappointing.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of the village, making it easy to explore the area. Although the rooms felt a bit small for our family of three and were at street level, the cleanliness was commendable. The service was generally good, with some staff members being very helpful, but others struggled with English. Dining was a bit on the pricey side, particularly for breakfast, which was compulsory and not great quality. Overall, it's a mixed bag but still a solid choice for its location.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were a little small for our family of three and located at street level, so we had some privacy concerns.

Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, especially one who had a great knowledge of the island and helped us find local spots.
Location
9.0
The location is definitely excellent, right in the center of the charming village and close to markets and restaurants.
Dining

Breakfast was rather expensive at 14 euros per person and the quality was pretty average, which was disappointing.

The hotel is situated in a prime location in the village, which I really appreciated. While the rooms are larger than what you'd find in Paris, they do come with a slightly higher price tag. The service was a bit hit or miss, with one staff member being exceptionally helpful, but another's limited English skills were a drawback. Overall, it was a decent stay, considering the central location and spaciousness of the rooms, but there are definitely areas that could use improvement.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious compared to typical Parisian hotels, but they didn't match the pictures provided, and they felt a bit overpriced considering the overall quality.
Service
6.0
I encountered both ends of the spectrum in service. One staff member was extremely helpful and attentive, offering great recommendations, while another seemed unable to address my complaints due to language barriers.
Location
9.0
The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the village. However, you might experience some noise from other guests, which can be a bit distracting.
Dining
5.0
Dining was an issue as it felt compulsory and overpriced, with breakfast costing an eye-watering amount and not living up to expectations.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities were basic, and while the hotel was clean, I did notice some humidity issues, especially in the rooms.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the village, making it super convenient for exploring. The rooms are a tad pricey and could use some improvement in comfort, but they're spacious compared to typical Parisian hotels. Service can be hit or miss; I had a great concierge, but there were language barriers with some staff. Dining options are a bit on the expensive side, and breakfast felt compulsory rather than enjoyable.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are larger than what you might find in Paris, but they came with a price tag that seemed high for what they offered. They were clean, but a bit smelly due to humidity.
Service
6.0
I found the concierge very attentive and knowledgeable about the island, which was a huge plus. However, not all staff spoke English well, which hindered resolving some complaints.
Location
9.0
The location is truly second to none, right in the village with access to shops and accommodations, although it does attract some noise from the reception and other guests.
Dining
5.0
Dining options seemed overly priced, with breakfast being compulsory at 12 euros per person. The quality of the coffee really left a lot to be desired.
Facilities
7.0
While the hotel offered a decent range of amenities, the overall upkeep could use a touch more attention. The pool area is nice but not exceptional.
